Kuvaus
The Last Planner System has been used in construction projects in Finland for more than two decades. It was first applied in production management but over the years, Last Planner has also become increasingly widely used as a design management tool.
Using the system produces clear benefits: Cooperation between project parties improves, prerequisites for the tasks are in place when the work starts and design and production work is completed on schedule.
This guide combines the theory and practice of the Last Planner System. It presents the basics of the system and instructions for using Last Planner in design and production management in construction projects. The book concludes with a brief history of Last Planner (what has been achieved so far) and an overview of future development trends (what can be expected in the coming years).
The guide is comprised of four independent parts
• The Last Planner System
• Last Planner in design management
• Last Planner in production management
• From good to better
The guide can be used in self-studying, to facilitate the implementation of the system in projects and as supplementary training material.
